The major advantage of the MC-550T

passive infra red motion sensor is the on-

board microcontroller with over 2.000 lines

of encoded software. This gives the

MC-550T small animal immunity to cats,

birds, rodents and other similar size animals.

This is the top of C&K’s IntelliSense PIR

line. The sensor is microcontroller based

and provides small animal immunity up to

11 kg. It can be considered as a precision

instrument and is probably the most

intelligent PIR on the market today.

The DUAL TEC

DT-700’s combination of

passive infra red and K-band microwave

detection reduces false alarms and provides

quick capture throughout the sensor’s

detection pattern. The shorter wavelength

K-band frequency does not easily penetrate

walls and windows, thus reduces false

alarms.
